A SHORT LIFE

Home

A third edition of Ian Jones's fantastic biography of Ned Kelly has just been released. (Aug 2008)

The first and second editions were published by Lothian books, this edition has been published
by Hachette Australia.

A Short Life has had amazing success with prints in 1995 (twice), paperback 1996, 1999, 2000, 2002;
new edition 2003 and now in 2008.

For those who could not obtain a copy one of the previous versions, this edition will be a welcome
addition to their 'Kelly' library.

No other book on this subject has ever nor (probably) will ever match the level of detail and
feel for the times as Ian Jones has done with this book.

This edition is minus the 56 page Jerilderie letter.

It is a slightly smaller format book which may explain why the 2nd edition was 429 pages and the 3rd
486 pages.

This edition has a new introduction.
