 The Glenrowan dinners of 2002 & 2003 were fantastic events.
They were held on the siege site itself (railway reserve) and very well
attended.
I was invited to the dinners by the organisers to write up the event.
It was unfortunate that in 2004 the dinners were moved to Bailey's Winery.
The atmosphere was no where as electric as it was when held close to the actual
battle site. The dinners are no longer held. I live in hope that one day the
council
will see fit to financially assist and return to the siege site for another
dinner.
