KATES COTTAGE

Kate's Cottage is a souvenir shop and museum in Glenrowan.

It is named in honour of Ned Kelly's sister Kate and also has a replica of the Kelly house out the back.

The business is owned and operated by Rod & Chris Gerrett.

Rod & Chris have been running Kate's Cottage for around twenty years now and know how to look after
their customers.

If you are in Glenrowan and want to see something worthwhile whilst not breaking the budget do
yourself a favour and visit Kate's Cottage. There is a very reasonable fee to see the replica homestead
and museum. It is in my opinion well worth the money.

The museum at the back of the shop houses some great Kelly related items.
My favourite is a window retrieved from the Glenrowan Railway Tavern.

There are heaps of professionally done portraits of the Kelly family along with a multitude of photographs.

My advice to anyone who will listen is, "go visit Kate's Cottage....you won't be disappointed".

The souvenir shop houses more 'Ned's' than you can poke a stick at.

If you cannot find something here to take home as a memento of your visit then you have your eyes closed.
